Ever seen a cool looking bug and want to know more about it? Or need help identifying a plant youve seen at the park? Welcome to the City of Riversides Citizen Science Nature Spotter app a handy tool that helps nature lovers record their observations, whether it be an insect, plant, animal, or anything else.
Spotters can send a photo or Video with questions about what theyve seen and a Naturalist will reply with feedback.
Observations will be collected and used to create an online database to share with fellow Nature Spotters.
So get outdoors, open the app, take or choose a photo/video, and send with your comments or questions!
This application was developed by City of Riverside, CA Information Technology Department working with Riverside Metropolitan Museum, the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department, and their Riverside Citizen Science partners.
