Wolftech News
News is the mobile client to accompany the Wolftech News system.
The app provides essential information for the handheld device and allows feedback from the user.
GPS tracking enables efficient resource use and safety for the user in risk areas.
Story assignment and editing
* The user gets his assignments to the device to see what he is working on
* The user will be able to edit and add photo or Video material from the device
* Story text can be edited directly from the device
Communication
* The activity feed will enable posting updates on story progress for two way communication with the office
* GPS tracker sends important tracking info for map display and resource coordination
* GPS mode has different levels for operation; Unavailable, Available, High Risk and Alarm.
* Alarm mode will have a SMS fallback to send an encrypted sms.

* The user gets vital information who he works with and equipment assigned
* There are notifications on new assignments, activity posts, Video uploads and important story changes
* All information is shared and synced with the News system instantly
* Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
