To facilitate monitoring and evaluation, the Akongo design office has developed, in collaboration with users, a mobile application.
This tool provides a global vision, with both information at an instant t and long-term monitoring of individuals.
The questionnaires are adapted by species (ex: primates, lemurs, big cats, birds, etc.).
The results are calculated automatically and a summary and a quick visualization of the well-being indicators by individuals and / or group is available.
This mobile application, accompanied by online software, allows user establishments:
- Administration and management of well-being assessment protocols.
- Management of the assessment schedule for different individuals (eg monthly, quarterly, etc.).
- The rapid visualization of indicators of well-being by individuals and / or group allowing to identify priority actions, and to ensure the relevance of the actions undertaken.
- Alert management on factors seriously compromising the welfare of animals as well as on possible delays or failure to complete the questionnaires.
- The archiving and export of this data in a secure manner.
This includes having a tool based on scientific parameters to assess animal welfare and identify priority actions.
This tool will also facilitate the sharing of information during regulatory inspections.
