Drive-and-Guide is a GPS-based application which navigates and guides you through Tenerife in your own car.
This is the English language version of our longest one day excursion starts from Las Americas, leads through the Teide and Taganana and arrives at Santa Cruz.
The total route is almost 200 kms long (plus driving home), we provide more than 200 mins of guiding.
If you have driven through this excursion all the way you can say that you have experienced a significant part of what Tenerife can offer.
In order to start an excursion, D'n'G will first launch Google Navigation (if you do not have google maps installed on your phone, the current version of DnG will not work).
Google will then navigate you from your home base to a designated "D'n'G meeting point", which is conveniently a petrol station.
At the "meeting point" your guided excursion can be started with one click.
D'n'G will then navigate and entertain you through the whole excursion.
In the unlikely case of you getting off the track, do not worry, D'n'G will notice the mishap, and will safely guide you back to a point where you can re-join the excursion.
Drive and Guide is working also in the background in case you want to have another app running in the foreground or you want to switch off your screen.
For your best D'n'G experience, connect your phone to the car audio system.
As all GPS-based applications D'n'G is also a battery-intense application.
Therefore, please make sure your phone is being charged while D'n'G is running.
