# MISSION #
Our mission is to make it worthwhile for talented people to go out to streets and let us enjoy their performance wherever we go.
# BACKGROUND #
There are many situations, when people come across street musicians, performers, etc., but they don't have a small change to give.
These people dont feel comfortable to stay and enjoy the performance without being able to donate/give anything.
So, frequently they just go away with an unpleasant feeling.
On the other hand, street performers do not have an effective way to collect tips / donations (e.g.
performers at a traffic light), as they need to approach people/be approached by one person at a time within a limited amount of time (e.g.
before the traffic light changes to green).
Thus, its a lose-lose situation for both sides givers and performers
Our app reverses the game and creates a win-win situation, when:
+ Donators always have something to give and can do it with a single click on their mobile device especially beneficial in situation when givers dont have time for extra clicks (e.g.
watching a performer doing a show, while waiting for a traffic light in her/his car)
+ Performers have a much more effective/scalable way for collecting/receiving tips
# HOW IT WORKS #
Users register either as "performers" or "givers".
When a "performer" starts a show, all "givers" in proximity receive push notifications with a basic info about the performer (name, picture, story, show's title) and can decide whether to tip him/her or not.
If they decide to tip, there are 3 buttons right on the push notification with predefined tipping amounts to send a tip with a single click.
Performers can also generate their unique QR code and let givers scan it to tip them without even installing the app!
When givers have the app installed, they can see active performers nearby on the map and tip them by clicking their avatar.
In addition, all recent performers will appear in the Recent list to allow tipping them even after they finished their performance.
Performers will need to specify their bank account number for us to do a weekly bank transfer with all their earned amount.
Givers will be able to pay with credit cards (soon also with Bit).
There is an option to store payment details for a faster tipping in the future.
We never store full credit card details on our servers.
Instead, we only store a public token for recurrent payments.
If a public token is lost or stolen, it's completely useless outside the app.
The app will automatically take a 5% fee from each transaction.

* Performers can generate their private QR and print it as a sign for quick tipping
* Performers can add their story and give names to their performances
* Performers who are actively performing will be shown on the map
* Givers will receive notifications whenever they come by a nearby performer
* Givers will be able to send a tip with a single click right from the push notification
* Performers will receive notifications on each donation
* Givers can specify their default donation amounts
* Performers can view all their earnings
* Givers can view all their donations
* Performers who performed in the last 24 hours within 10 km range from giver's location will appear in the Recent list
* It will be possible to add a performer to the Favorite list
* A performer, who is either in the Recent or Favorite list, can be tipped regardless wether s/he is active at the moment or not
