The word Sudoku (Japanese: , sdoku) is pronounced without any change with the Japanese translation.

- On the line should be filled with numbers starting from 1-9 and there should not be the same number in one line.

- On each part of the area box with a size of 3 x 3 containing 9 small boxes.
The small box must be filled with numbers 1-9 and the condition must not be a repetitive number in each area box.
- Games are often in the form of a 9 9 grid, deep in 3 3 subgrids called "areas" (other calls are "boxes", "squares", etc.).
- Some cells are provided with pre-filled numbers, called "given" (sometimes "instructions").

That is why the original name of this game exists - Single Number.
