With Smart Edge you can easily get the iPhone 14 Pro's Dynamic Island feature on your android device!
Just tap on the little black Smart Edge / popup to open the displayed app, long press the popup to expand it and view more details.
Permissions required by the app to get the full experience
- Overlay permission ("SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW" and "ACTION_MANAGE_OVERLAY_PERMISSION"): Be able to display over other application.
Required to display behind the status bar.
- Notification collector ("android.permission.BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE"): Not required to use the app but is required to have the notification panel responding to your device notifications
- Apps "QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES".
Get your device applications to be able to let you filter the notification from the Dynamic Island depending on the app
- Bluetooth "BLUETOOTH" and "BLUETOOTH_CONNECT".
Required if you want the Dynamic Island to respond to bluetooth headset plug and unplug
iPhone's Dynamic Island is not customizable, but Smart Edge is! You can change interaction settings, select when to show or hide the Smart Edge / popup or which apps should appear.
