Groh e Akbari began its journey in 1979, as a group, that strived to bring all the people who had migrated from Hyderabad Deccan, under one roof, keeping the spirit of Hyderabadi Marsiyas and Maatam alive on the other side of the border.
Groh e Akbari, since then, has been quite active in all their religious ventures, alhamdulillah.
Five years ago, that is 2015, Groh e Akbari commenced its Digital journey, relaying live majlises on Facebook, hence approaching a larger audience, even outside Pakistan.
And now, in 2021, Groh e Akbari launches its app.
The idea is conceptualised by a dedicated young member of the group, Nasir Zaidi, who has compiled all of the Groh's activities, their text, their scheduled, majlises, Ziarat.
