Chiloe Saludable

We are a team of academics and engineers from three universities (Universidad de Valparaso, Universidad de Chile and Universidad de O'Higgins), together with the company RedConoce LTDA, we have come together to contribute to the development of the Active and Healthy Aging Project that is takes place on the Isla Grande de Chiloe, and has been sponsored by Mutual de Seguridad, of the Chilean Chamber of Construction.
We all progress through the years and with this project we seek to improve the lifestyles that make us grow older with more health and a better quality of life.
We refer to the way we eat, to the physical exercise we do, to the consumption of water, to sleep well and to abandon habits that are harmful (such as cigarettes).
We know that it is not easy, but with this App we are going to help you with information, in an entertaining and instructive way, so that you can make a better life, take care of your health and enjoy many years with the people you love the most.
Main features of the application:
- Audiovisual material in capsule format delivered in an entertaining and instructive way.
- Educational videos of daily life in the format of chapters "The Series"
- Initial record of habits.
- Weekly monitoring for compliance with healthy habits.
- Participatory, community and inclusive approach.
- Culturally adapted to the Chilo area
- Creation of a virtual community around their experiences and achievement of goals.
- Promotion of the mental, physical and social well-being of the participants.
