The My Ketogenic Diet Connected Care App is part of the My Ketogenic Diet Connected Care Platform and allows patients, using a ketogenic diet to manage their epilepsy, to monitor and record food intake, seizures, weight, blood ketone and glucose levels and share this data in real time with their dietetic team.
You will need to initially talk to your dietitian and ask them to on-board you.
You will then receive text and e-mail invites with various registration details, including a link to download the App.
Your dietitian will set your own personalised macronutrient and ketone targets, allowing you to monitor your dietary food intake and blood ketones carefully against these levels.
You may also want to talk to your dietitian about setting up flagging whereby your dietitian can be remotely informed of things like ketone levels being out-of-bounds; macronutrient intake over or under target levels.
