Masjid Kampung Laut is one of the oldest mosque in Malaysia.
It was build in 1676 which located in Tumpat, about 3 kilometres from Kota Bharu.

\tIn 1967, the mosque has been moved to Nilam Puri, Kota Bharu, Kelantan.
Its happen because of the heavy flood that occurred in December 1966 that caused a part of the mosque destroyed.
A few years later, Historical Association Of Malaysia (PSM) said the place are not safe to be used, and good remedial measures were taken in 1967 by group of Malay Carpenters.
\tThis mosque combining Malay Nusantara character in this building with the systematic timber jointing technology.
This character clearly seen at Rumah Ibu or main prayer hall.
This mosque also added by natural charachteristic that can be shown at the roof structure and finally heading to the vast nature no boundaries.
