This book is a development of Handbook 1 and Handbook 2 of MK Philosophy of Science.
Rewriting that is more applicable is deemed necessary because Philosophy of Science, including MK, is not easily absorbed by students.
Learning from experience when the author studied Philosophy and Philosophy of Science, until the end of the lecture it felt disconnected from the lecturer's explanation.
Two possibilities why this happened.
The first possibility is that the lecturer and the material are not interesting, the second possibility is that the students do not have the ability to absorb the lecturer's explanation.
According to the author, the second possibility is very dominant.
Meanwhile, when teaching Philosophy of Science in the Undergraduate (S1) program, not all students can absorb the lecturer's explanations even though various methods have been used.
There are times when students are reluctant to deepen into a subject, even though it substantially has strategic value for student academic development.
Philosophy of Science theoretically does not experience the rapid development of other scientific disciplines.
Because it includes basic courses and forms the foundation for other courses.
This book is deliberately designed to be different by showing many applications of Philosophy of Science in the realm of practice especially Islamic studies.
This is to help students and readers become more familiar with the application of Philosophy of Science.
This book is very suitable for students and readers who are working on and exploring the scientific world and how it applies to Islamic studies.
Hopefully the presence of this book will provide additional knowledge and references for the development of Philosophy of Science.
