KVK Namakkal CRA App is targeted to impart knowledge and skills to Graduating Agriculture, Horticulture and Veterinary students, Extension officials and Farmers about the successful interventions in Climate Resilient Agriculture where the climate vulnerability is Drought.
The app mainly aims to provide solution to mitigate drought and erratic rainfall, crops and cultivars for sustainable agriculture, climate resilient livestock farming for additional income and the role of village climate risk management committee in drought prone villages.
The interventions provided in the app are based on the technologies successfully implemented by KVK Namakkal under the scheme National Innovations on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA) in four villages of Erumapatti block of Namakkal district between 2011 2020 under the technical leadership of Central Research Institute for Dry land Agriculture (CRIDA), Hyderabad.
The scheme was operated under four modules viz., Natural Resource Management, Crop Production, Livestock and Custom Hiring.
Introduction of new climate resilient technologies in Agriculture, Horticulture, Livestock and Poultry, Rain water Storage structures and Custom Hiring Centre (CHC) for farm implements were the major activities of the scheme brought sustainable farming and livelihood of the farmers.
To popularize those interventions to the end users in large scale this CRA app is developed.
The app also provides details about the activities of KVK, Namakkal, its location and weekly weather forecast of Namakkal district

MyAndroid is not a downloader online for CRA - KVK Namakkal App. It only allows to test online CRA - KVK Namakkal App with apkid com.kvknamakkal. MyAndroid provides the official Google Play Store to run CRA - KVK Namakkal App online.
