The Vidar application aims to allow mute, deaf-mute or aphasic people to communicate easily and quickly with anyone, anywhere, anytime.
We aim to impose as few material constraints as possible on users and their interlocutors.
We measured that it took between 5 and 10 seconds to establish a conversation.
Vidar comes in the form of a cross-platform application: a
mobile application and a web application, which theoretically makes it compatible with any type of digital device.
We thus offer an instant messaging service allowing the two interlocutors to be put in touch quickly and easily, without the users having to transmit information relating to their private lives (telephone numbers, account on a social network, etc.).

On a practical level, the discussion is simple to establish: you just have to create a QR-code that your interlocutor will have to scan.
This assumes that this
the latter owns a smartphone, which is true for the majority of the French population.
Scanning a QR-code is a very simple operation: the smartphone camera application now includes this function natively.
In the case of an older device or one that does not have lenses, an alternative is still possible by going to the Vidar website and entering a code.
In the latter case, the operation can be longer and tedious, but remains as fast as possible.

MyAndroid is not a downloader online for Vidar. It only allows to test online Vidar with apkid com.ipiccie.muetssages. MyAndroid provides the official Google Play Store to run Vidar online.
