In Europe, about 23 million adults left school before completing secondary education (Eurydice Report, 2015, "Adult Education and Training in Europe").
Project partners offer learning opportunities to this target group through project-based learning (PBL) and entrepreneurship education.
This combination is called Entrepreneurial Learning (EBL).
In EBL, project-based learning (PBL) becomes a single project-based experiment where project activities follow the first steps a real entrepreneur has to go through.
The aim of this new didactic method is to develop entrepreneurial skills, along with specific knowledge and skills related to each subject.
The EBL is very effective in this target group, so we wanted to develop a complete curriculum (ISCED 2) for adult secondary education based on the EBL.
The first step in this was to train our teachers.
However, there were no training opportunities for teachers to develop and implement a full curriculum for adult secondary education based on the EBL.
This is why we have decided to develop this first, open and multilingual e-learning platform on entrepreneurship-based learning (EBL) for adult secondary education teachers (ISCED 2).
