In the first part of the reader, each letter of the Matses alphabet is entered with 5 or 6 words with corresponding illustrations that can be touched to play the sound clip.
In the second part, the different syllable structures in the Matses language are introduced, starting with simple syllables, also illustrated with an image and an associated audio clip.
Each page that introduces a letter or syllable type is followed by an evaluation page, in which students match the words on the previous page with their corresponding illustration.
