The Pet system incentivizes the user to keep working on their habits, knowing that otherwise the Pet might get sad, and leave them.

How habits work
There are two types of habits:
Tick box, and Progress bar.
The tick box is a one-time activity, that you either complete that day, or don't
The progress bar lets you specify the amount of maximum time per day you can work on a habit.
Working only a part of the time on this habit type will earn you Sparkles proportionally.
You decide which habits are important
Earn a daily amount of maximum 100 Sparkles by completing all your habits.
However, habits are weighted - If you have 3 habits to complete on Tuesday, one can earn you 90, while the other two 5 and 5 respectively.
You decide which habit earns how much.
Calibrate your experience further by turning features on or off on the Settings page.
