My name is Matteo Baiamonte and I am a painter, I have recently completed my studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo.
Painting has always fascinated me, but not only the world of painting but art in general.
In my art I deal with many contemporary themes such as war and pollution just to name a few, creating works such as in search of comfort, invasion, ears of corn, improper weapons and new discoveries.
Themes that I like to address not only through painting but also very often resorting to the use of mosaic or with the combination of both.
The reason why I do this job is for multiple reasons, the first being that it allows me to meet people, to be able to compare myself with them, allowing me to grow both on a technical and human level, but at the same time also because it gives me the possibility of making myself known, my sensitive part and transmitting my passion in what I do to people.
Because for me art is a desire to express one's feelings and fix them on a canvas to try to convey them to people.
But at the same time it is also a means for us artists to denounce the injustices of society
