Stefano Coradeschi was born in Arezzo on 01/07/1970.
He currently lives in Monte San Savino, a small town in the Val di Chiana Aretina.
Up until he was a child he stood out for his outgoing character characterized by a marked curiosity and creativity.
Endowed with a strong personality, which soon leads him towards a deep introspective investigation, since childhood he has been noted for his skills in drawing and in the creative arts in general, in search of the most congenial way for him to express himself.
It is in fact what revolves around feeling rather than being which over time leads him to take an interest in painting, first as a fascinated spectator and then as a painter himself.
Thus begins his self-taught journey, finding in painting the means that will best allow him to get to know each other and make himself known as an artist.
In his youth he traveled in Italy and abroad to be able to see live the works of the artists who most fascinated him, starting from the great painters of the Italian Renaissance up to the Impressionists and twentieth-century Italian painting and not only.
The first pictorial works come to life around the end of the 90s, in the same period he often works in the workshop of a well-known painter from Savinese, Sergio Borella.
Between the two, despite the difference in age and style, a relationship of great esteem and friendship that still lasts today.
The relationship with the painter friend, characterized by a continuous dialectical confrontation alongside an in-depth and continuous study of all the post-impressionist and avant-garde pictorial periods, was very important for his artistic growth.
those are the years during which his way of conceiving painting and art in general will mature.
From 1997 to 2007 he explored different artistic terrains, experimenting a lot, ranging from figurative painting up to expressionism, ending up with the informal passing through abstractionism, up to the exasperation of conceptual forms and contents, but the aim has always been to search for a style, which would make it recognizable.
In the same period he participated in various group exhibitions in the province of Arezzo, as well as to a personal exhibition set up at the Cassero Citizen Museum of Monte San Savino.
linked to it, from which he feels profoundly distant, a profound crisis will arise which will lead him to an almost complete interruption of his artistic activity, for more than ten years.
Only in 2020 following the visit to Livorno to the exhibition "Modigliani and the adventure of Montparnasse, the creative vein that had remained almost completely dormant for 13 years will find new lifeblood.
Thanks to a rediscovered artistic season, many new works are born that denote an acquired maturity, perhaps also due to the chronological age, which has partially mitigated the feverish need to express himself that characterized the production of the first years.
Coradeschi finds in the landscapes that surround him, whether they are marine, river, lake, wooded or the splendid ones of the Tuscan hinterland, the subjects that most inspire him.
The representation of what surrounds him is never only descriptive, but deeply evocative of the strong emotions that images arouse within him.
Nature is never purely portrayed, but is strongly evocative in its essential forms, sometimes even exaggerated in their minimalism, where light is always the master.
Stefano Coradeschi is therefore a totally self-taught painter who over the years has managed to find his own artistic identity, but who deeply believes in the search for new expressive stimuli that will allow him in the future to never be the same as himself.
