How it works?
BooYaah tracks your steps and rewards you with BooYaah coins, which can be redeemed for e-gift cards from some of the top brands in Australia! Every 100 steps you take is rewarded with 1 BooYaah coin.
So now you can save on food orders, groceries, electronics, movie tickets, cab bookings, and much more, just by walking!
Home:
The Home screen shows you "Today's Progress" i.e., the steps you have taken, the distance you have covered, and the calories you have burnt today.
It also shows you your total coin balance, the total number of steps you have taken, and your current level.
Levels:
Levels determine how many BooYaah coins you can earn on a given day by walking.
On the lowest level, i.e., Level 1, you can earn a maximum of 40 BooYaah coins per day; on the highest level, i.e., Level 5, you can earn a maximum of 200 BooYaah coins per day.
Store:
Our store is where you can redeem your hard earned BooYaah coins for e-gift cards from some of the top brands in Australia.
Currently, we have $10, $25, $50, and $100 e-gift cards from Amazon AU, Uber AU, Coles, Woolworths, JB-Hi-Fi, and Hoyts.
Friends:
The Friends screen is where you can search for and follow your friends.
You can also check the weekly and monthly leaderboards to see who has walked the most and keep those competitive juices flowing!
Profile:
The profile screen is where you can add your favorite picture as your profile pic and edit your personal information.
It also gives you a detailed breakdown of your fitness history with BooYaah.
You can see the steps you have taken, the total distance you have covered, and the calories you have burnt in the current week/month as well as past weeks/months.
BooYaah Premium:
With a BooYaah Premium subscription, you can upgrade to Levels 2, 3, 4, and 5, which means you can earn more BooYaah coins on a daily basis! Cha-Ching!
Bonuses:
You can get bonus rewards by inviting your friends to join BooYaah through the in-app invite feature on the Friends screen and by watching ads in the Daily Rewards section on the Home screen.
PLEASE NOTE:
- BooYaah does not run in the background.
This means that your steps will still be tracked even if the app is not open, but your step count and coin balance will only get updated when you open the app.
- Currently, BooYaah only tracks steps through your phone using the Google Fit app.
However, we aim to enable integration with smartwatches and fitness bands in the future.
You will get rewarded with BooYaah coins whether you walk indoors or outdoors.
We do not use GPS tracking, which greatly saves battery.
