In Bella Runes Munch Mani-Cure app , mobile phones and Augmented Reality are used to give a manicure to all the hands which have come into contact with Munchs paintings over the years: hands belonging to art dealers, curators, thieves, and the artist himself.
Hold your phone up to paintings on Floor 4 (Infinite) and Floor 6 (Monumental) and view Munchs art as youve never seen it before: his images augmented by manicures methods of caring for and communicating through the hands and fingers, and various unusual, expanded and experimental frames which Rune has placed around the paintings.
At home you can use the takeway version of the app to scan reproductions of Munchs works on postcards, screens and posters.
