The BDB has made it its task to consistently stand up for the central professional demands of its members:
Ensuring the independence of freelance architects and consulting engineers so that they can act solely in the interests of their clients and are guarantors for the quality of the services they are responsible for
Continuous design and improvement of the fee schedule for architects and engineers (HOAI)
Enabling responsible professional practice, also on a European level, by formulating the framework conditions for freelance work accordingly
Transparent and fair further development of the award procedure for the services of architects and engineers
