In 1997, the Ministry of Information Technology and Communications, MINTIC, granted the Community Action Board of the Clamo neighborhood, led at that time by the community leader, ROBERTO MONTIEL OVIEDO, the operating license for a community radio station.

HILDE ALFONSO MORENO HERRERA as manager and the technician in social communication and journalism AND HOVANY ANDRS VLEZ as general director and a whole team of professionals, who have consolidated a positioning job that currently places LA PREFERIDA 98.8 FM as one of the best community radio stations in the country.
Human quality, inclusion, content in our programming, administrative organization, technology and infrastructure, make us an excellent option to communicate in the south of the department of Huila.
