Bangla is our mother-tongue.
Life has become so busy and need based
that love for our dear Bangla Bhasha taken a back seat.
The tunes and
rhymes we grow up with baburam sapure, khokan khokan kore maa arent
we forgetting to pass it on to our next generation?
Today, we leave our native places in search of a livelihood and nest
in other parts of the world.
Some of us are in New Delhi or New York,
some are Mumbai or Melbourne.
The physical distance amplified the
distance with Bangla language, which, was as if, an unwanted
side-effect of a comfortable and secured life.
The far-reaching effect
was on our next generation which is deprived of the sweetness of our
beautiful Mother Tongue Bangla and the enormous treasure of literature
she has.
To extend to the new generation, the literary treasures left
behind by the greatest authors and poets of who lived in Bangla,
Rabindranath, Sarat Chandra, Jibonananda, Sukumar Ray, Satyajit Ray
and many more, we present Praner Chora.
