Paolo Vallesi

Paolo was born in Florence on May 18, 1964 and began studying piano at the age of 9.
Sixteen, he began his career as a musician and arranger in the recording rooms between Florence and Modena.
In 1989 he participated in the television program "Gran Premio" with Pippo Baudo.
In 1991 he participated and won the Sanremo Festival in the "New proposals" category with the song "The useless people." He published his first album with Caterina Caselli's Sugar entitled "Paolo Vallesi" and the album, with almost 200,000 copies sold gives him his first Gold Record.
In 1992 he returned to Sanremo, in the Big section, with "The strength of life", winning third place.
The self-titled album with over 500,000 copies sold, remained first in the album and singles charts for several weeks and obtained the Platinum Disc, making it the second best-selling album of the year.
The disc is also released in Germany, France, Holland and Scandinavia and, in the version sung entirely in Spanish, in Spain and in Latin American countries.
The song "Semper", contained in the album, wins the radio air-play award at the Festivalbar.
In 1993 he began his collaboration with the Italian National Singers Association, with which he has played over 210 games to date.
In 1994, his third album entitled "Don't betray me" arrives which, in addition to guaranteeing him his second Platinum and third Gold, sees him collaborate with his friends and colleagues Eros Ramazzotti, Biagio Antonacci and Irene Grandi.
With the latter begins a long tour.
The album also comes out in the Spanish version "No me traiciones".
In 1996 Paolo Vallesi returned to Sanremo and recorded his fourth album entitled "Never be great" for Warner Music, and the Spanish version of "Grande" reached first place in Spain also thanks to the duet of the same name with the Madrid singer Alejandro Sanz.
In 1999 he released his fifth album, also as a producer, entitled Sabato 17 e 45.
In the same year the Dutch version of his song "Semper" ("Vriin Zijn") sung by Marco Borsato reached 600,000 copies sold.
In 2003 he released his collection of hits "Best of Paolo Vallesi", published throughout Europe.
In 2009 he produced the first album of the National Singers with the songs that made the history of the team, including La Forza Della Vita.
In April 2012 he released the single "A Moment Was Sufficient" with a Video together with his friend and teammate Neri Marcor.
In 2013 he composed his first soundtrack for the film "An angel in hell" with Giancarlo Giannini.
After years of live, Paolo returns to write together with his team and thus finds the desire to return to the general public also a new album " Episode 1 , an EP with 7 unreleased tracks, released in December 2015 and preceded by the single Il bello che c'e .
On 10 June 2016, he released the single SUMMER 2016, produced by Pio Stefanini with a Video signed by the director Marco Salom.
In February 2017 he participates as a guest in the final evening of the Sanremo Festival with the song "Pace" interpreted with the singer-songwriter Amara and composed by her.
In March 2017 the long-awaited album "Un Filo Senza Fine" was released for Isola degli Artisti distribution Believe which contains 6 unreleased songs, the aforementioned Pace, his three best-known songs (La forza della vita, Le gente useless and Grande) rearranged for symphony orchestra and the cover of the song by Ivano Fossati "A night in Italy".
From May 2017 he begins a long tour in Europe with his band.
In January 2019 he participates in the television program "Ora o mai pi" broadcast on Rai1 where he plays his songs, duets with his coach Ornella Vanoni and with other great artists of Italian music.
On March 3 his new single "Ritrovarsi Ancora" is released.
On May 23 the new tour started from Florence, his city.
