Run this app named HidroES using MyAndroid.
You can do it using our Android online emulator.
The HidroES application allows you to monitor rain and flow in the Santa Maria da Vitria (ES) river basin, and provide forecasts of rain and flows in its main watercourses, seeking to benefit civil society and the entrepreneurial and government sectors.
Managed by the Esprito Santo Technology Foundation (FEST), the app is the result of a tripartite cooperation agreement between the agency, the Federal University of Esprito Santo (UFES) and Arcelor Mittal.
Its development took place within a research project carried out at UFES, in collaboration with the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL).
Through the app, the Santa Maria da Vitria river can be monitored, with real-time tracking of rainfall and the flow of the watercourses, in addition to the possibility of viewing a short-term forecast (up to 10 days in advance) of the flows, obtaining information on potential critical conditions in terms of water volume.
The development of the application relied on the articulation of public and private entities: Public Ministry of the State of Esprito Santo (MPES); State Water Resources Agency (AGERH); Federal University of Esprito Santo (UFES); Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL); Santa Maria da Vitria river basin committee; Capixaba Institute for Research, Technical Assistance and Rural Extension (INCAPER); Statkraft Brazil; among others.
With the application, public authorities, companies, civil society and the river basin committee can collectively articulate actions to adequately face a period of extreme flows (high or low), minimizing impacts on the quality of life of citizens, in economic activities and in the preservation of the environment.
