The Adventures of Pechte is a collection of 7 interactive stories created by the students of the schools of the Lower Padua and the Euganean Hills to tell the territory through the medium of the Video game.
Choose the visual novel of your choice and follow the adventures of Pechte between time travel, lost objects and mysteries to solve!
Pechte is the experiential school tourism path dedicated to the identity resources of the territory and which combines history, art, nature and traditions.
The idea is to involve younger generations in tracing new "paths" and designing a new "geography" of their territory using different disciplines and languages, such as documentary, writing, drawing, theater, audio podcast and the videogame, to build concrete tools for the tourist promotion of the territory.
Pechte owes its name to the protagonist of a well-known rural legend in the south of the province of Padua, who left small traces - "pechte" means, in fact, "small footprints" in the dialect of the Bassa Padovana - along the waterways of the Bosco dei Lavacci where he loved to wander barefoot, escaping the control of his poor mother, to run in the fields and play with other children.
They too, when they did not see him coming, looked for him, calling Pechte, Pechte.
Even today, when the wind moves the foliage of the trees and caresses the grass, the call "Pechteee" can be heard in the distance.
Pechte is one of the three models of experiential school tourism - Ancient Venetians, Religious tourism and Pechte - which involve school pupils and students from institutes in the Euganean Hills and Lower Padua area in as many paths dedicated to the study of the territory and production of innovative promotional tools to stimulate rural and neighborhood tourism.
Pechte is an initiative of the LAG Patavino as part of the # DaiColliallAdige project, financed by the FEARS fund and the Cariparo Foundation.
