With the edu.digicard app, modern use of the digital student ID card on their own smartphone is possible for students at Austrian schools.

Validity Date
place of residence (zip code)
Requirements:
a.
The school must participate in the edu.digicard project.
b.
14-year-old students have an ID Austria.
c.
For students under the age of 14, their legal guardians have an ID Austria.
How to use the edu.digicard app:
1.
Download the "edu.digicard" app for free.
2.
You apply for the edu.digicard with your second device via the edu.digicard website.
An ID Austria is required to register on the edu.digicard website.
a.
From the age of 14, students apply for the edu.digicard themselves.
b.
For schoolchildren under the age of 14, the application for the edu.digicard is made by a person with parental authority.
3.
Scan the QR code displayed on the edu.digicard website with your edu.digicard app.
4.
The edu.digicard is now displayed on your smartphone.
The validity of the edu.digicard can be checked using the QR code displayed in the app.
