ABC bingo is an ABC club app for children who are learning to read and write.
Let your child collect objects and animals and at the same time practice hearing how letters and sounds sound and reading words.
The ABC Club apps train the basic and important phonological awareness and word decoding.
Phonological awareness means the ability to divide a word into different sounds (analysis) and the reverse, to be able to put different sounds together into words (synthesis).
ABC bingo specifically trains the ability to identify the first sound in words and read short words.
Tap the picture and listen.
Which sound is heard first? What letter does the word start with? Look for the word in the correct column, or on the game board if you chose level 2.
When the entire bingo tile is filled, the game round is over and the player gets a star as a reward.
The degree of difficulty can be adjusted in different ways so that the exercise is at the right level for the child, e.g.
by choosing upper/lower case.
When a group of letters is completed, an object or animal appears next to the current group of letters on the start page.
This also shows how far the child has come in the app.
Some children probably recognize the pictures and exercises from school.
The ABC club is a well-spread teaching aid in learning to read and write for preschool classgrade 3.
This lite version of the app includes the first group of letters, OMAS.
