READING, VOICES FROM THE LAKE
It is a cultural project involving the 16 municipalities of Lake Iseo, straddling the provinces of Brescia and Bergamo.
THE IDEA
A calendar of readings, guests are invited to bring a book to the public as a source of inspiration for a meeting with the public, read a passage, explain the choice.
Finally, guests are asked to leave a book list which will be delivered to the participants.
The festival will be held on Lake Iseo between late September and early October.
For the rest of the year, the idea is to organize one event per month related to the same theme: readings and literary advice with characters.
THE PROTAGONISTS
- the role of books in the growth of a person, as roots and guide in life.
- the text, as a source of inspiration.
- the voice, as a transmission and translation vehicle.
- the lake, as a place where what is around is reflected.
And reflect.
- a community in search of an author, 16 Municipalities united by the lake and a vocation for hospitality that is beginning to decline today.
- The lake as a cradle to re-draw on, sink you, fish you.
